TYPES OF MEMBER
General Membership
On voluntary payment of subscription.
Taka 1000/- (One Thousand)
for every 2 (Two) Years for General Member.
a) Yearly membership fee shall be due on 1 st January of the year.
b) A Member enrolled shall have to pay the full subscription for that year, irrespective for the date of enrolment.
c) Membership fee of each year shall be paid by the 30 th June of that year failing which membership stands cancelled. He or she may be enrolled as the member of the Society as per clause 5 of Article II of the constitution.
Life Membership
Life Membership fee: Taka 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) at a time. Collection of fee.
Honorary Membership
Person/Persons of high scientific attainment and having outstanding contribution to Cardiology can be elected as honorary member for life. The name of the person shall have to be proposed by at least one third of the members of the Society of which 10 members must be from Executive Committee and shall be elected by 2/3 rd majority of the Executive Committee members present in a Executive Committee meeting.
